Before getting the train home, we spent the morning walking around the city walls of Chester. I’d never seen a town with rows of shops, I guess this was the Roman version of a shopping mall.


Do you know your Roman numerals?

At the East Gate Stew and his mum were trying to decipher it’s age. Without looking it up, would you know what date “AD MDCCLXVIII” stood for?
